Dieses handgemachte Wabi-Sabi Schalen-Set „Aoi-soko“ (blauer Grund) besteht aus drei organisch geformten Schalen: einer grossen flachen Schale und zwei kleineren. Geformt aus Schweizer Ton, wirken die tiefen Cyan-Flächen im Inneren wie stille Seen.
Die Glasur ist das Ergebnis reiner Elementar-Alchemie aus unserem Studio. Eine eigens entwickelte Asche- und Sandglasur erzeugt ein lebendiges Spiel aus cyan-blauen Tiefen, rostigen und braunen Zonen, metallisch matten Stellen und Anagama-ähnlichen Effekten an den Rändern. Jede Bewegung der Glasur ist unvorhersehbar und einzigartig – ein klassisches Beispiel für die Ästhetik des Wabi-Sabi.

Handcrafted Wabi-Sabi Bowl Set „Aoi-Soko“
The “Aoi-soko” (blue depths) is a handcrafted Wabi-Sabi bowl set consisting of three organically shaped bowls: one large shallow bowl and two smaller ones. Formed from Swiss clay, the deep cyan surfaces inside resemble quiet seas.
The glaze is the result of pure elemental alchemy in our studio. A custom ash and sand glaze creates a living interplay of cyan-blue depths, rusty and brown zones, metallic matte areas and Anagama-like effects on the rims. Every movement of the glaze is unpredictable and unique – a classic expression of Wabi-Sabi aesthetics.
