Diese handgemachte Wabi-Sabi Schale trägt das tiefe, lebendige Grün der Wälder nach dem Regen in sich. Geformt aus eisenhaltigem Schweizer Ton, entfaltet sie eine beeindruckende optische Tiefe: dunkle Wolken, lavaartige Glasurflüsse mit cyan-türkisen metallischen Spuren und glänzende Tropfen, die über die Wände wandern.
Die Oberfläche ist das Ergebnis reiner Elementar-Alchemie aus unserem Studio. Eine eigens entwickelte Asche- und Metallglasur – aus lokal am Rhein gesammelten und aufbereiteten Zutaten – schmilzt zu einem lebendigen Oribe-Moosgrün mit metallischen Wolken und organischen Flussspuren. Jede Bewegung der Glasur ist unvorhersehbar und einzigartig – ein klassisches Beispiel für die Ästhetik des Wabi-Sabi.
Ein archaisches Gefäss, das sowohl dem Alltag dient als auch als skulpturales Objekt wirkt. Ideal für Salate, Beilagen und Speisen oder als ruhiger Blickfang im Raum. Ein echtes Unikat aus dem WabiSui ArtLab.

Handcrafted Wabi-Sabi Bowl „Shinryoku“
The “Shinryoku” (Deep Verdure) is a large oval Wabi-Sabi bowl that carries the deep, living green of forests after rain. Formed from iron-rich Swiss clay, it reveals striking optical depth: dark clouds, lava-like glaze flows with cyan-turquoise metallic trails and glossy drops that cascade over the walls.
The surface is born from pure elemental alchemy in our studio. A custom ash and metal glaze – made from ingredients collected and prepared along the Rhine near our workshop – melts into a rich Oribe moss green with metallic clouding and organic flow trails. Every movement of the glaze is unpredictable and unique – a classic expression of Wabi-Sabi aesthetics.
An archaic vessel that serves both daily use and sculptural presence. Ideal for salads, side dishes and food presentation, or as a quiet centrepiece. A true one-of-a-kind piece from the WabiSui ArtLab.
